Greetings!

We are Home Cooks with a Passion for fine home dining.

We have been cooking and studying foods for almost thirty years. (We started at age eight.) Three years ago, giving in to requests for classes, OLD TOWN COOKING SCHOOL ("OTCS") was created to teach - and to learn from - other home cooks and foodies, just like us.

OTCS is dedicated to using the best ingredients and to making meals interesting as well as nutritious. Providing our students with the best teachers in the business, we "shout out" worthy discoveries, and fight for the preservation of classics in the world of food. We do not accept paid endorsements of any kind, so we are freely able to share our experiences, discoveries and insights in a straightforward way with our students.

Home Cooks are the best Food Researchers.
Bonne Addresse is the French term used when friends share a particularly good establishment, tradesman or purveyor of just about anything. Deanna and I use it our work to share our findings with you.

Our Flâneurs: travelers who explore and wander - with style.
OTCS's friends will fill us in on their discoveries, from farmers' markets in New Orleans to dining in London, San Francisco, New York, Italy and France. In addition, Deanna will be shouting out about our food findings near and far from our Pasadena homes.

May we help you?
Need a menu idea? A special recipe or two? Don't know how to clean lemon grass? What's the best way to mash potatoes? Have to put together a party for two hundred?

ASK US, at our new concierge-style service "YOU ASK THE COOKS." Yes, everything can be found on the Net - but will it have been tested? And, who has time to gather it up and make it cookable?

We do - so let us hear from you!

We hope you'll contact us soon, and look forward to meeting you in class as well.
